One of the most useful skills in the interiors business is the ability to listen. That has always been the guiding ethos at Ruth Eley Interior Design, and the aim is always to carefully and meticulously interpret and implement the client’s dreams.

Ruth started her interiors business from home ten years ago and soon found herself with premises on the main street of Duffield, Derbyshire. Just five years ago a move to a new house with integral shop, and a large space in which to create a design studio, has allowed the business to expand and her reputation to grow.

Discerning and exacting clients have returned to her each time a new project has arisen and word-of-mouth recommendations have helped her develop her skills and knowledge over the years. Working with Ruth opens up an inspirational world of exceptional brands and exciting interiors products.

Her innate sense of style, eye for colour and good design combined with a well-honed organisational discipline, make for a skill set which is applied to each and every project, large or small. Each project, whether a restyle, full house design or project management challenge, is met with equal enthusiasm with the aim to create something unique to each customer.
