Using a concept to achieve a style delivers a strong and bold design as the finished product. I apply this approach to all my work, which means each project is completely different to the next, ensuring a space is particular to the user. Key principles to desiging a garden or outdoor space are balance, unity and movement which provide harmony and interest overall.

A concept is developed whilst getting to know my client, their wishes and the garden itself. I gather inspirational pictures, visit gardens and search through one of the many design books I have. I am also inspired by my favourite designers and plants:
